About
Hi, I'm Natasha.
I'm an educator, writer, trauma recovery coach, and single-lone mom who lives with my son in the Greater Toronto Area. I utilize my experiences as a mom and teacher in order to: - work one-on-one with teens and young people to provide trauma-informed secondary support - work one-on-one with caretakers, mainly single/lone moms, who are supporting teens and young adult children as they navigate mental health challenges I also spend time with families through The Sashbear Foundation and am working towards becoming a peer facilitator in the Family Connections Program. I understand first-hand the systemic challenges that single/lone mothers face as they raise their children, and also put to use my BA in English Literature and MEd in Social Justice Education as I read, research, and write about lone motherhood. My writing can be found here. |
